Day 1: Arrival in Dar es Salaam
Upon your arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam, you will be met by a representative from Trek Tanzania Safaris. After a warm welcome and briefing on your adventure, you will be transferred to your hotel in the city. Take the rest of the day to relax and recover from your journey or explore the bustling city at your own pace. Overnight at your hotel in Dar es Salaam.
Day 2: Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park)
After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Selous Game Reserve, one of Africa’s largest wildlife sanctuaries. Upon arrival, settle into your lodge and enjoy a freshly prepared lunch. In the late afternoon, head out on a thrilling boat safari along the Rufiji River. This is a perfect introduction to Selous—watch for crocodiles, hippos, and an array of birdlife as the sun sets over the horizon. Overnight at a lodge or tented camp within the reserve.
Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Selous Game Reserve
Spend the day exploring the diverse landscapes of Selous on a full-day game drive. The reserve is known for its large populations of elephants, lions, and African wild dogs. Day 4: Walking Safari and Transfer to Mikumi National Park

Day 6: Mikumi to Ruaha National Park

Day 7: Full-Day Game Drive in Ruaha National Park

Day 11: Return to Dar es Salaam and Departure
