Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

You will arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you’ll be met by your safari guide and transferred to a family-friendly lodge in Arusha, such as Lake Duluti Lodge. The rest of the day will be spent relaxing and preparing for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with a visit to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees. You’ll enjoy game drives that are perfect for families, with opportunities to spot giraffes, lions, wildebeest, and other wildlife. Overnight will be at Marera Valley Lodge in Karatu area.

Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

Takes you to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions, colorful flamingos, and the stunning soda lake. Here, you will embark on a game drive and can opt for additional activities like visiting a nearby village or walking along a treetop canopy walkway. You will spend the night at a same lodge near Karatu area.

Day 4: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

You’ll journey to the Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s most iconic safari destination. After arriving, you’ll enjoy an afternoon game drive across the vast plains, seeking out wildlife such as lions, zebras, and elephants. Accommodation will be at a family-oriented lodge at Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Camp in the Serengeti.

Day 5: Full Day Game-Drive in Serengeti National Park

Will be a full day exploring the Serengeti, with morning and afternoon game drives tailored to families. The day is filled with exciting opportunities to spot cheetahs, lions, zebras, and other animals while enjoying the breathtaking scenery. You’ll return to the same lodge or camp for the night.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater 

You’ll leave the Serengeti and head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descending into the Ngorongoro Crater, you’ll experience a unique ecosystem teeming with wildlife, including rhinos, elephants, and hippos. After a memorable day of game viewing, you’ll stay overnight at Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge in Karatu.

Day 7: Karatu to Arusha (Departure)

You’ll drive back to Arusha, with optional stops at local markets or cultural centers for souvenirs or cultural experiences. You’ll be dropped off at Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure or given the option to extend your trip.
