Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by a Trek Tanzania Safaris representative and transferred to your lodge in Arusha for rest and a detailed safari briefing. Dinner and overnight will be at Arusha Coffee Lodge or a similar lodge.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its iconic baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Enjoy an exciting game drive exploring the park's unique landscape and wildlife. You will have lunch at a picnic site before continuing your safari. Dinner and overnight will be at Tarangire Safari Lodge or a similar lodge.

Day 3: Full Day in Tarangire National Park

Spend the entire day exploring Tarangire National Park. With a picnic lunch in the park, you will have ample time to spot elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, and a variety of bird species. Dinner and overnight will again be at Tarangire Safari Lodge or a similar lodge.

Day 4: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, stop at a local Maasai village for a cultural experience where you will learn about their traditions and way of life. Arrive at your lodge, located on the crater rim, in time to relax and enjoy the stunning views. Dinner and overnight will be at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge or a similar lodge.

Day 5: Full Day Ngorongoro Crater Safari

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. The crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities. You will enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site in the crater before continuing with the game drive. Look out for black rhinos, lions, hyenas, hippos, and flamingos. Dinner and overnight will be at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge or a similar lodge.

Day 6: Ngorongoro to Arusha and Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Arusha with optional stops at local markets for souvenirs. You will have lunch in Arusha, depending on your flight schedule, before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
